School and More
I can’t believe the summer went by so quickly and everyone is heading back to school, including Sissy and myself. Sissy asked me to convey some of her achievements (she can’t even sit up yet much less type) since she started school a few weeks ago.
Sissy wants you to know that she has discovered her toes and enjoys putting them in her mouth. She also enjoys putting as much of her hand as she can fit in her mouth. She is fascinated by daddy and anyone who smiles at her. She loves to laugh and has started to talk up a storm. Often times mommy will find her wide awake in her crib, staring up at the walls and just jabbering to herself.
Mommy can’t wait for Sissy to start eating solid food. She has already stockpiled food in the pantry. Sissy actually tried some rice cereal last week. Unlike me, she seemed to like it right away. If I can find the pictures I will post my first encounter with rice cereal and then hers. Even though Sissy liked the cereal, mommy says her tummy didn’t. I am not sure what that means but Sissy had to have 2 baths in one day.
I help mommy drop Sissy off in the baby classroom every morning. I have the very important job of inspecting all the toys in the room to make sure they are in acceptable working order. I check on all the babies crawling around and make sure they seem happy and will promise to be nice to Sissy. I always make sure to talk to Ms. Amber, she was my teacher too. Sissy is lucky to have her around. I inspect Sissy’s crib as we leave to make sure mommy didn’t forget anything and then it is off to my classroom and breakfast. Yum. I can’t decide if I like french toast or pancakes better.
